Today the government announced the reopening of the housing market. Whilst precautions are necessary to deter any further waves of the pandemic, government ministers have reassured us with measures that will enable people to sell, buy, rent and let properties during the Covid 19 outbreak, by easing restrictions on the sector.
In an updated release, the government have laid out terms in which, the public, and agents can continue working within the industry safely and with least disruption to housing sector services and markets.
As of today, as long as you are not tested positive or are self-isolating with their family, you will be able to move house, allow valuations and viewings within government guidelines and medical advice.
While social distancing rules still apply – through careful and sensible management, Penny Joseph are happy to go through any questions or advise on safe process of buying, selling, letting or renting properties amid any fears you may have.
